We also use many open source solutions, as these are often the best and most cost effective ways to build a project.

We will of course tell our partners when we do use open source solutions as they will often be unsure of what this means to them and why we have chosen that product.

Generally, open source solutions provide mature, robust, well maintained software packages that are freely available to use, disseminate and alter by any person or company, under a free license.

This gives us, the developer, a way of speeding up development time and cost. It gives you, our partner, a more cost effective solution, no license fees and no tie in to any single company or service provider.
