Well, it's here, people are using it. It's IE*.

What will it mean to us all?

I'm not too sure just yet, but I can imagine IE7 compatibility being very popular?

Also, given the latest stats for browser worldwide usage, IE overall seems to be in decline. Maybe with the improvements in IE7 and some encouraging secs from Microsoft, we'll see a bit os a resurgence in the usage of IE?

If it renders CSS better [at least more closely to the CSS specification and the behaviour of other browsers] then bring it on. If not, I'd happily see the decline in IE to continue.
