Some of these heroes are working tirelessly behind the scenes, invisible but there on the web sites we visit every day. You'd never know.

So what is a web design hero?

A web design hero is something [or somebody] that does something really cool, that saves you loads of time and money and makes your web site smarter, faster, neater, easier to use or just plain old great.

These internet heroes are things like content management systems, browser plug ins, javascript libraries, development frameworks, code snippets, in fact, just about any resource that you come across on the internet.
